TFortis switches provide security for an education institution in Yekaterinburg

In most cases, projects with TFortis equipment are classified. It is often used to provide the security of strategic facilities, public institutions and in many other projects, the technical details of which cannot be disclosed for security reasons.

The project implemented together with our partners, Crystal Technology Center, is not an exception. Our partners cannot disclose the name of the institution itself, but are ready to share the information on the technical solution.

The project is designed to implement an outdoor video surveillance system. A distinctive feature of the project was the use of unique equipment: TFortis PSW-2G+ outdoor switches with built-in optical distribution frames and cabinets from a Canadian manufacturer with built-in vertical cable organizers and swing doors.

The main reason for using the above equipment was the need to build an outdoor perimeter video surveillance system, as there is very limited space inside the building. The equipment has already been tested in the conditions of severe Russian winters and has proven reliable. A number of additional switches will be installed on the same site by the end of 2018.
